Sardinia is more than white beaches and turquoise waters
These are roads winding up into the mountains.
Pink granite cliffs.
Small villages where time seems to have stood still.
Coastal trails far beyond the reach of tourist buses.
And islands we explore by bike and on foot.

This is how we invite you to experience Sardinia — slowly, deeply, and actively.

On this journey, you don’t have to choose between cycling and hiking

Program and route
DAY 2.
After landing in Olbia, we transfer to Cannigione, on the coast of Costa Smeralda.

We settle into the hotel, get acquainted with our bikes, and head out for a short introductory ride around the area.

It’s an intentionally easy first ride — around 20 km. We’ll follow the roads around Cannigione, discover our first coves and views of the Emerald Coast, and get our first real taste of Sardinia on two wheels.

There’s no need to rush today. It’s a day to settle into the road, the bikes, and the rhythm of the journey — and to get to know each other.
Today, we start to pick up the pace.

After our gentle introduction to the island, we set off on a full cycling route, with climbs and descents, covering around 33 km with 430 m of elevation gain.

The road gradually takes us further from the usual rhythm of a holiday: more riding, more elevation, more of Sardinia itself.

This is when the journey starts to feel less like a vacation and more like a real adventure.
DAY 1.
Your First Taste of Sardinia
DAY 3.
This is the Bike & Travel way of travelling — where cycling becomes a way to experience a country from the inside.

In the evening, we return to the hotel to relax and recharge before the next day.
Today, the route gets longer, and the journey becomes even more immersive.

We set out for a full day on the bike, with climbs, descents, and roads that take us through Sardinia’s ever-changing landscapes.

At this point, you stop counting the kilometres. You simply want to keep riding — towards the next bend, a small village, a view of the sea, or a place that makes you want to stop and take it all in.

There will be time for coffee, photos, a break, and unhurried conversation.
DAY 5.
DAY 4.
Today, we venture further from mainland Sardinia to Isola Maddalena.

Ahead of us is a 16.4 km hiking route with 330 m of elevation gain.
This is one of the most beautiful hikes of the journey, with trails winding along the sea, through Sardinia’s distinctive granite landscapes, secluded coves, and crystal-clear waters.

Here, you truly see how different Sardinia is from the usual idea of a beach holiday.

We’re not just coming to the island to see it.
We’re exploring it on foot.
After a long day in the saddle, we change the pace.
Today, we set out on a hiking route of around 8.5 km.

The trail winds through Sardinia’s distinctive landscape — low Mediterranean vegetation, rugged rock formations, and open spaces where your eyes keep drifting towards the sea.

The pace slows down.
There’s time to stop.
Take in the details.
Listen to the wind.

It’s a completely different way to experience the island — not through speed, but one step at a time.
DAY 7.
Getting back on the bikes
DAY 6.
Sometimes the best plan is to plan nothing
Today, we’ll cover more than 56 km with 710 m of elevation gain.

The route takes us through the heart of northern Sardinia, connecting the coast with the small towns and quiet roads of Gallura. Along the way, we’ll pass through San Pantaleo, San Antonio di Gallura, the Arzachena area, before returning to Cannigione.

This is no longer a casual ride — but it’s not a race either.

We ride at our own pace, climbing, descending, stopping along the way, and gradually discovering how different Sardinia feels beyond its most famous resorts.
Today, there are no kilometres to count and no elevation to worry about.

Sleep in, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, spend time by the sea, explore on your own, or simply follow your own rhythm.

Optional excursions or additional activities can be arranged.

This day is not only about giving your body time to recover.

It’s about experiencing Sardinia at your own pace — without a schedule or a list of things you have to do.
DAY 8.
Today is another full day on the bike.

Almost 60 kilometers and more than 1,000 meters of elevation gain.

After several days of traveling, your body is already getting used to the rhythm: breakfast, cycling, the road, a stop, a new landscape — and then onwards again.

But this is exactly when things start to get interesting.
We’re no longer simply riding through Sardinia. We’re beginning to feel its rhythm, notice the details, and understand why this island can’t be truly experienced in just one short holiday.

At times, the road runs closer to the sea; at others, it takes us deep into the island. Sometimes you want to ride faster, and sometimes you simply want to stop and stay there for a few more minutes.

In the evening, we return to the hotel and share the day’s impressions over dinner.
day 10.
We continue to explore the Costa Smeralda
day 9.
changing the rhythm again
Today we continue exploring Costa Smeralda — this time around Pevero.

Almost 10 kilometers on foot, with 190 meters of elevation gain.

The route follows coastal trails through Mediterranean vegetation, granite rocks, and open views of the sea.

Pevero is all about the sea, the rocks, the light, and that unmistakable Sardinia that makes you want to come back again and again.

It’s especially easy to lose track of time here.
Today, Costa Smeralda awaits us — but not in the usual sightseeing format.

We get to know this coastline on foot.

9.7 kilometers of walking, with very little elevation gain — just 70 meters. So here, the focus is not on the physical effort, but on the place itself.

The sea, rocky shores, hidden coves, and the unmistakable Sardinian landscape.
We can walk slowly.
Stop by the water.
Watch the color of the sea change.

And simply enjoy the fact that, for once, we don’t have to rush anywhere.
day 12.
Bicycle and return to the islands
day 11.
Another day for myself
67 kilometers and 700 meters of elevation gain.

And once again, the sea and the islands become part of our route.
We head towards La Maddalena, with part of the journey by ferry.
Bike, sea, harbor, ferry — and then back on the road.

This is no longer a series of separate activities, but one continuous journey, where each day brings together a different side of Sardinia.

By evening, there’s that wonderfully satisfying feeling after a long day on the road: tired legs and a head full of memories.
Today, once again, there’s no need to rush anywhere.

After several active days of cycling and hiking, we leave time for rest, the sea, and your own plans.

You can spend the day by the pool or on the beach, enjoy a long lunch, or take a leisurely walk around the area.
And once again, you can choose an optional excursion.

If you’d like to continue exploring the island, we can help arrange an additional experience — from cultural and historical sites to unforgettable gastronomic discoveries.

And if you simply feel like having no plans at all — that’s a great option too.
Sometimes the best day of a journey is the one with no schedule.
day 13.
we're walking again
Our last active day.

And perhaps there’s something special about it: we’re hiking again, but now we already know there won’t be another route after this one.

Ahead of us are 12.3 kilometers of trails and 410 meters of elevation gain, followed by a transfer to Golfo Aranci.

The trail gradually leads us to our final views of the sea. We can walk at our own pace, stop, take photos, look back, and catch ourselves thinking about how much has happened over these two weeks.

At the beginning of the journey, we were just getting to know Sardinia.
Now we’ve cycled across it, explored it on foot, climbed hundreds of meters above sea level, visited the islands, and seen the coastline from so many different perspectives.
Only the final kilometers remain.
And it’s worth holding on to this view a little longer than usual.
day 14.
Breakfast. The last few hours on the island. And then, the flight home.

But after two weeks, Sardinia is no longer just a point on the map.
You’ve cycled across it.
You’ve explored it on foot.
You’ve seen the coastline from both the road and the trail.
You’ve visited the islands.
You’ve climbed hundreds of meters above sea level, only to descend back towards the sea.

And now, what you take home isn’t just a photograph of Sardinia.

It’s your own story about it.

Reviews
It was my first bike tour, and I was worried if I could take the route. But "everything was thought out to the smallest detail"— regular stops and "support from the guide. Not only did I do it, but I also had a lot of fun!
Irina
I was afraid that a group trip would not provide personal comfort, but everything went perfectly! The guide took into account everyone's preferences, and there was an opportunity to set aside time for himself. It was a tour in which I felt important.
Rustem
I was worried about safety on the route, but from the first day it became clear that there was nothing to worry about! The bikes are in excellent condition, the route is carefully checked, and the guides are always nearby. This is the best experience for my husband and me!
Minura
The individual tour exceeded my expectations! Everything was tailored to my interests: from the route to the local attractions. I enjoyed the journey and 't thought about planning — Oh all taken care of. It remains to think about the next round.
